I have been teaching English as a second language for 8 years in both the United States and abroad in Chile where I learned Spanish. I have taught all ages of learners and all levels from beginner through advanced. In addition to ESL, I specialize in teaching reading comprehension and writing skills with an academic focus, and I have taught English composition at the university level. I have also been a grader for the writing section of the SAT and TOEFL exams. I enjoy teaching because I like helping people achieve their goals and work towards new opportunities. I am very patient and can help you build strategies to make learning easier.
